Notes command

Use this command to open a Notes window where attach additional information to the estimate from the spreadsheet. You can add or edit a separate note for each spreadsheet row.

Notes is on the shortcut menu for all columns in the spreadsheet.

Shortcut menus provide access to commands that you may need to accomplish a particular task.

To open a shortcut menu, point to something in a Sage Estimating (SQL) window, and then right-click it. The available commands vary based on where you are pointing.

Tips:  

  • A notepad icon in the row header The Notes button means there are notes attached to a row.
  • You can also view and edit notes in the Detail window.
  • You can also add separate notes for the estimate as a whole in the Estimate Notes window. To open the Estimate Notes window, you click the Notes icon on the ribbon or in the Estimate Information window.
