Integration with eTakeoff Dimension

Tight integration with eTakeoff Dimension enables seamless mapping of Estimating items to items in eTakeoff. When you're working on an estimate in Sage Estimating, you can quickly link a quantity cell in an estimate to a measurement in an eTakeoff plan and send quantities for that measurement to the estimate with a few short keystrokes.

Additionally, when you copy and paste a takeoff quantity that is linked to an eTakeoff Dimension variable, the pasted quantity retains the link, enabling you to use the same measurement for more than one estimate item, as needed. And if Dimension breakdown values use the same names as WBS values in your estimate, Sage Estimating can apply the matching WBS values to the estimate item when you bring over the quantity.

Notes:

  • While you need to have both eTakeoff Bridge and eTakeoff Dimension installed on the same computer where Sage Estimating is installed, you do not need to have Bridge open when performing a takeoff.
