Use this command to copy the total of two or more cells in the Takeoff Quantity column of the spreadsheet to the clipboard. You can then paste this total from the clipboard to any cell in the spreadsheet, such as at the item level or phase or group phase overline levels. To display overline totals, remember to select the appropriate checkbox in the Estimating Preferences tab of the Estimating Management Console.

You need to select two or more takeoff quantity cells before you can choose the Copy Sum command.
The selection remains on the clipboard and is available for pasting in any cell in the spreadsheet until you cut or copy something else.

You can also choose Copy Sum by:
- Right-clicking in one of the selected cells or in the Sum= cell on the status bar, and then selecting Copy Sum from the shortcut menu.
- Pressing Ctrl+Shift+A.
