You can recalculate the labor and equipment prices for the crews in an estimate after updating prices in the standard database or estimate.

Before you begin

Before you recalculate crew prices, Sage recommends creating a backup copy of your estimate file.

To reprice labor and equipment prices in the estimate:

  1. Open the  Reprice Crews window in one of the following ways:

    • On the ribbon, from the Reprice Estimate group on the Takeoff tab, click Reprice Crews.
    • In classic view, click PricingReprice Crews.
  2. On the Categories tab, specify processing options. For more information, click image\windhlp.gif on the title bar of the window and then click a field or button.

  3. (optional) By default, the crew prices for all estimate items are repriced. To limit the reprice to specific phases of items or specific crews, specify the desired phases or crews on the Ranges tab. How?

  4. (optional) Customize the Price Update report.

  5. Click [OK].

  6. Review the Reprice Estimate Confirmation window.

  7. To continue with the reprice, click [OK]. Sage Estimating reprices the estimate.

To cancel the reprice and return to the Reprice Crews window, click [Cancel] in the Reprice Estimate in Progress window.

Tip: If you often use the same settings for repricing estimates, you can save those settings as the default for future use. To do this, click [Save Default].
