To change the order of the spreadsheet columns:

  1. Use the mouse to select the headings of the columns you want to move. You can move one column, or multiple, adjacent columns. Columns that have both a quantity and a unit move the two together.

    The cursor changes to a four-way arrow.

  2. Press and hold the mouse button as you drag the selected columns to their new location. Release the mouse button to insert the columns.

  3. Tip: You can use this feature to customize the appearance of the Spreadsheet report:

You can also change the order of the spreadsheet columns in the Modify Spreadsheet Layout window. (Click Home tab > Sequence group > [Layout]. In classic view, click ViewSpreadsheet Layout). Select the column name you want to move, and then click Reposition Column to move the column to a new location.
