Sage Estimating (SQL) enables you to represent your estimates in imperial or metric units of measure. (You specify your measurement system on the Miscellaneous tab in the Estimate Settings window.)
Sage Estimating (SQL) comes with a variety of predefined common unit conversions, but you can add your own conversions and edit built-in conversions. Although Sage does not recommend it, you can change the conversion factors for these predefined units (for example, if you do not want to use the same degree of precision in your conversions). You can also remove conversions that you do not need.
If you want to convert and display estimate quantities from the current measurement system to imperial or metric, you select the Convert quantities to checkbox on the Miscellaneous tab of the Estimate Settings window.
You use the Edit Unit Conversions window to specify conversion factors to use when converting defined units of measure from imperial to metric, and from metric to imperial.
