Printing estimate reports
You can print a report on paper, preview it on your screen, or export it to a PDF file or an ASCII text file. The printing procedure is similar no matter which report you choose to print.
Before you print an estimate report
Because the report information comes from the current estimate, you must open the estimate before you can print a report for it.
- Click File > Open Estimate.
- Select the estimate you want to open from the list.
- Click [OK].
Tips:
- When you open an estimate, Sage Estimating automatically opens the associated standard database at the same time. If it cannot locate an associated standard database, you can either browse to locate a standard database or open the estimate without a standard database.
- You can attach a different standard database to an estimate by choosing File > Open Standard Database while the estimate is open. The new standard database remains attached to the estimate until you close it or open a different standard database.
To print a report:
-
On the ribbon, select the Reports tab, and then from the Estimate Reports group, click the report you want to print.
In classic view, select
menu, and then select the report you want to print. -
(optional) To customize the report, click [Report Options].
