Server check status indicators

Icons in this area indicate the status of the Pervasive database server and the Microsoft® SQL Server® instance or instances.

Before migrating your Sage Estimating data, the Data Migration Utility verifies the required prerequisites are met. The resulting status for each database server type (Pervasive and Microsoft SQL Server) is displayed in this area using the following icons:

Server status indicators
Indicator Description
An image of a green check mark, indicating success Indicates a database server (Pervasive) or an instance (SQL Server) has been located and communication is successful.
An image of the Question icon, indicating the database was not found Indicates either the database server or instance has not been located or communication with the database server or instance is unsuccessful.
An image of the caution or warning icon Indicates a database server or instance could not be found. You can hover your cursor over the status indicator for additional information.
An image of a red X, indiating an error condition

Indicates an error condition in the database server or instance. Hover your cursor over the status indication for additional information.

You must correct the error condition before continuing with data migration.

If the Data Migration Utility does not successfully locate a SQL Server instance, you can browse for one in the Settings window.

Press Ctrl+K at any time if you want to re-verify the data migration prerequisites.
