Duplicate Phases
Use duplicate phases to copy one or more phases to new phase numbers. If you duplicate more than one phase, create unique phase codes by incrementing one or more of the digits in the phase. You can choose whether to overwrite existing phases and how to handle the JC Phase column.
To duplicate phases:
- Select the row header for a phase or range of phases.
- From the Actions group of the Home tab, click Duplicate.
- Type a beginning phase number in the Start phase box.
- If you duplicate multiple phases, use the mouse to move the red box to the number group you want to increment.
- If you duplicate multiple phases, type a value in the Increment Value box. Enter up to four digits.
- Select the Replace Duplicates check box to overwrite existing phases. Clear it to choose not to overwrite existing phases. If you clear the check box and any duplicates exist, Database Editor skips duplication of phases with identical phase numbers.
- Under Job Cost Phase, select a method to handle the Job Cost Phase column.
