Data Migration settings

Use this step of the Data Migration window to select your destination SQL Server estimate and Address Book databases and verify SQL Server and Pervasive prerequisites are met for data migration.

You must specify one estimate database and one Address Book database before data migration can proceed. You can specify only one estimate database and Address Book database at a time for migration. Perform a separate data migration if you want to migrate some of your Pervasive databases to another estimate database or Address Book database.

To open this window, fom the Data Migration window, select step 2—Settings.

Item	Notes
SQL Server	Click to specify a destination SQL Server estimate database and Address Book database for your migration. Click [Select] next to the Address Book Database or Estimate Database box to specify a database from the current instance.
Pervasive	Click to perform an automatic check of the Pervasive prerequisites.
Options	Select Enable detailed logging if you want to generate detailed entries in the Migration event log. Clear the Enable detailed logging check box to prevent detailed migration event logging. Note: Enabling detailed logging may slow the data migration process. Select Allow non-administrators to view and edit migrated estimates if you want to grant security rights by default to all users for the migrated estimates.
