Linking item prices in the standard database
Updating standard database prices by category
You use this tab to link prices between two or more items in the standard database. Then, when you change the price of one item, Estimating automatically updates the price of all other items linked to that item.
Note: Linking is available only for Labor, Material, and Equipment categories.
The Links tab also shows the item price from the Pricing tab. The price cannot be changed here.
For help on a field or button on this tab, click

Tips:

Select the checkbox beside each category that applies to an item.

Linked items in the standard database always have the same price.
