Changing the conditions for a formula table
Formula Table window
This window lets you set up a formula table by entering the conditional criteria, expected responses, and values you want returned to the formula.
The first thing you do is choose a condition from the Variable / Formula list. Then the Formula Table window opens so you can enter the name, specify the number of conditions, and complete the formula table.
You can set up a formula table with one or two conditions:
- One dimensional sets up a formula table with a single input condition. During takeoff, the formula table returns a value based on the entry for that variable or formula. Example
- Two dimensional sets up a formula table with two input conditions. During takeoff, the formula table returns a value based on the entries for two variables or formulas. Example
Open the Formula Table window in one of the following ways:
- On the ribbon, from the Data tab, click . group on the
- In classic view, click Database menu > Formulas > Formula Tables.
Tip: To resize the Formula Table window, drag one side of the frame.
