Formula Table window

This window lets you set up a formula table by entering the conditional criteria, expected responses, and values you want returned to the formula.

The first thing you do is choose a condition from the Variable / Formula list. Then the Formula Table window opens so you can enter the name, specify the number of conditions, and complete the formula table.

You can set up a formula table with one or two conditions:

  • One dimensional sets up a formula table with a single input condition. During takeoff, the formula table returns a value based on the entry for that variable or formula. Example
  • Two dimensional sets up a formula table with two input conditions. During takeoff, the formula table returns a value based on the entries for two variables or formulas. Example

Open the Formula Table window in one of the following ways:

  • On the ribbon, from the Calculations group on the Data tab, click Formula Tables.
  • In classic view, click Database menu > FormulasFormula Tables.

Tip: To resize the Formula Table window, drag one side of the frame.
