Miscellaneous tab

This tab contains information that Sage Estimating (SQL) uses to create standard databases and estimates.

Sage Estimating uses the Labor/Equipment information to calculate the labor and equipment hours for items with certain time-based order units. The totals appear in the spreadsheet, Totals window, and reports.

When you select the Automatically calculate quantities checkbox for an estimate, Sage Estimating aggregates quantities that have matching units, and displays calculated overline quantities on the spreadsheet.

Example

The Automatically calculate quantities option is available only from the Estimate Settings Miscellaneous tab.

When you select the Convert quantities to checkbox, you can select the measurement system in which you want to represent quantities for the estimate. You can convert measurements from the current system (Native) to Imperial or Metric measurements.
