Learn about using Address Book with Sage Estimating (SQL)
Estimate Settings window
The Estimate Settings window contain the entries you made when you created the estimate. They include information such as the format for Sage Estimating phase codes, work breakdown structures (WBS), crew pricing, and the standard hours per day, week, and month. Sage Estimating saves your entries when you click [OK].
When you create a new estimate, Sage Estimating copies the information from the Database Settings window. You can then use the Estimate Settings window to customize the information for the estimate.
Notes:
-
Once phases, items, or addons have been created, the only way to change the phase code format is through the Management tab.
The only way to change the job cost interface is through the Advanced tab. This is also true once the crew pricing method has been specified.
- You can change the WBS fields before creating a new estimate.
To open the Estimating Settings window:
- On the ribbon, from the Views group on the Home tab, click Settings.
- In classic view, click Takeoff > Estimate Settings.
