Repeat Item

Use Repeat to copy one item to multiple new item numbers. You create unique item codes by incrementing one or more of the digits in the item number. You can choose how to handle the JC Phase column for the new items.

  1. Select the row header for a single item.
  2. On the Home tab, from the Actions group, click Repeat.
  3. From the Target phase list, select a phase in which to repeat the item.
  4. Type a value in the Start item box. Enter up to 4 characters.
  5. Use the mouse to move the red box to the number group you want to increment.
  6. Type a value in the Increment Value box. Enter up to 4 digits.
  7. Type a value in the Repeat box. Enter up to 4 digits.
  8. Under Job Cost Phase, select a method to handle the Job Cost Phase column.
