Address Book window
Use this window to manage your Address Book contact information.
Address Book contacts appear in the Companies /Contacts pane. Contacts are grouped by type (Companies, People, Regions, and Trades). Click any contact type to see an expanded list of contacts. Click any Companies or People contact to view its corresponding setup information.
To switch the active Address Book database, use the Search button to list other available databases.
Note: You can switch the active Address Book database only if you have the appropriate permissions level.
- Select an Address Book database from the Companies/Contacts pane of the Address Book window.
- Click [New Company], [New Person], [New Region], or [New Trade] (from the top of the Estimating Management Console) as desired to add a new contact to the list.
- Edit the contact details in the detail pane (right-hand pane).
- Click [Save] to save the new contact.
Note: The Address Book contacts are listed by type (Companies, People, Regions, and Trades) above the Options pane. Click the arrow key to the left of the Companies and People lists to expand them.

Displays a list of all contacts in the selected Address Book database, according to contact type (Companies, People, Regions, or Trades). Click to highlight a contact to see the information for that contact. |
Address Book Catalog toolbar |
Search for an Address Book by clicking the search icon () in the toolbar. (This icon is available only when you open the Address Book from the Estimating Management Console.) You can also refresh () the Address Book list, updating the contact name information in with any changes other Sage Estimating operators have made while the Address Book window has been open. |

Click to create a new company and add it to the Address Book database. Enter your new company information in the Detail pane, and then click [Save] to add the new company to your company list in the Address Book database. |

Click to open the Region window to add a new region to the Address Book database. Type the name of the region in the Region window and click [OK] to add it to the region list in your Address Book database. |
[New Trade] |
Click to open the Trade window to add a new trade to the Address Book database. Type the name of the trade in the Trade window and click [OK] to add it to the trade list in your Address Book database. |
[Save] | Click to save your Address Book information changes. |

Click to add information to your contact, such as a company's return policy or a person's contact preference, for example. |
The search fields are displayed automatically when you click Companies or People in the Companies/Contacts pane. See Searching for contacts for more information about locating specific contacts.
Click on any company in the list (in the Companies/Contacts pane) to view and edit its company information.

Click to view a complete list of available regions in the detail pane.
Click to view a complete list of available trades in the detail pane.
