About cutting, copying, and pasting spreadsheet items
You can easily cut or copy and paste one or more items within the same estimate or into a different estimate.
You can also cut and paste multiple assemblies and items at the same time, providing you do not select a complete assembly.
No matter where you paste the selection, Sage Estimating (SQL) organizes items appropriately based on the current sequence.
Tips:
- The phase and job cost phase codes in both estimates must have the same format (length and suffix).
- Selecting a collapsed level includes every item within that level.
- If the estimates use different standard databases, there may be missing or conflicting information. Example
- You can also drag items from one estimate to another.
- Subcontractor bids (Bid Grid of the Sub Amount column) are not included in these operations.
