Renumber Phases

Renumber phases lets you easily move phases around in the database. For example, you could move all of your demolition work from group phase 2100.000 to 2400.000.

Note: Database Editor will not let you overwrite existing phases when you use Renumber.

1. Select the row header for the demolition work phases in group phase 2100.000.
2. From the Actions group of the Home tab, click Renumber.
3. Type a beginning phase number in the Start Phase box. For this example, type 2400.100.
4. If you renumber multiple phases, use the mouse to move the red box to the number group you want to increment. For this example, move the box to surround the 100 in 2400.100.
5. If you renumber multiple phases, type a value in the Increment Value box. Enter up to four digits.
6. Under Job Cost Phase, select a method for to handle the Job Cost Phase column.
